MM: James, I was actually in the building and I don’t rank players just on their name. In my opinion Savon was one of the best players in the camp. He played hard on both ends and displayed top talent.

Mr. Melton who is the top prospect in the region’s 2012 Class?
MM: There’s some top talent in this class. You have Nkerweum Okoro, Kyle Anderson, Amile Jefferson, Savon Goodman, Labrent Walker among others. We will make a Top 50 ranking for this class at the end of August. This class will be the only one ranked.

MM: Well right now the Gauchos, Delaware Hawks and Team Underrated have been impressive while King Street Kings have showed promise. I’m taking a trip to the 12U Nationals and will report what I see.

Mike I heard that the Hoop Group Jr. Elite Camp is the place to be what do you think?
MM: John I know Lamar Barrett very well and from what I heard it was pretty good last year. I will definitely be there this year. It’s August 2nd thru 5th at the College of NJ.
