Standout Performers
Brandon Austin Forward (Team Kobe)- Austin had a tough start offensively. He was getting the looks but his layup’s kept going in and out. To his credit the youngster continued to battle and did other things to help his team like rebound, block shots and throw some good passes. When Brandon did get on track you could see the potential oozing from his body. He handles the rock like a true guard and has added a nice crossover to his arsenal. This kid has a chance to be very special.
Malik Smith Guard (Team Kobe)- Smith gives Team Kobe the toughness they need to succeed. The point guard handles the rock strongly and can either score or drop off a nice pass. He does get into trouble at times by over penetrating but his gutsy play pays off with big shots and tormenting defense.
CJ Wolfe Guard (Team Kobe)- Wolfe gave his team some good minutes at the point also. He brings some calmness to the position and knows how to direct traffic. His minutes were kind of up and down so I assuming he was in foul trouble.
Anthony Rhem Guard (Team Kobe)- Rhem can shoot it from the perimeter and score the ball in transition. His size on the outside also helps Team Kobe when their pressuring the rock.
Mike Silverthorn Forward (KSK)- Mike gave another solid effort early on with some soft mid-range shots. He tried to battle the more athletic Team Kobe players on the glass but it was a tough duty. He also stepped behind the arc and banged a trey.
Austin White Guard (KSK)- White had some stellar play at the start. He was able to get into the lane and make some athletic finishes. His ball handling definitely gave Team Kobe trouble before they made adjustments.
