Malachai Richardson hit 5 treys and scored 18 points while Shawn Jones totaled 24 points and the NYC Gauchos steamrolled the NJ Pirates 75-22 to win the 12 and Under title at the PBC Blow Up Tournament.

Malachai Richardson Guard (Gauchos)- Richardson breaks opponents hearts with gut wrenching treys early and often. Once again his shots never touch the rim before hitting bottom. He truly is benefiting from the Gauchos picking a trio of giants. Malachai has to be one of the top 12 and Under shooters in America.Shawn Jones Forward (Gauchos)- Jones ran the floor and collected on some easy buckets. The stormed the glass on both ends and took advantage of the match-up problem he presented on the floor. He was a good pickup for the Choz.
Dakier Johnson Forward (Gauchos)- The 6’4 forward controlled the paint and was a consistent problem for the Pirates. He blocks or alters shots regularly and can score near the basket. His youth is evident when you see him attempt offensive moves on the post. He has some ways to go in terms of developing but he’s off to a good start.Timmy Quashie Guard (NJ Pirates)- Quashie was moonlighting with the NJ Pirates and put together a good tournament before running into the extremely talented Gauchos.
