Jr. All American Camp: Saturday Evening Report Class 2014
The California Kid Cartwright Has Game!
The Class of 2014 was so impressive on Saturday we have an afternoon and evening report. There was wall to wall action in the grade division. Here’s a breakdown of who we saw and what happened. Here’s our Saturday evening report.
Class 2014 Standouts
Parker Cartwright Guard (Van Nuys, CA)- This guard knows how to perform on the stage. The California Kid has some enormous skills within his long frame. He knows how to score from the perimeter and manages to post players up also. Parker can hit the jumper in the lane or use slick dribble moves to create space.
Will Brewster Forward (Birmingham, AL)- Brewster is very fundamentally sound and unselfish. He has the up and under move intact and passes the ball very well from the forward position. He moves well without the rock and hits teammates well on the move.
Justin Coleman Guard (Birmingham, AL)- Coleman caught fire in his evening game from the perimeter. He hits the mid range shot and is capable of draining the trey. He stepped up big during this session.
Jarvis Calhoun Guard (Trussville, AL)- Calhoun totally blacked out in the evening session. The lefty scored on drives and had the jumper falling deep and short range. Once he began feeling it he began launching shots from everywhere angle with success.
James Cunningham Guard (Lexington, KY)- Cunningham is a heady guard that loves to use the spin move in the lane to create opportunities. he sees the floor very well and doesn't force the action looking for his own shot.
Wade Baldwin Guard (Bellemead, NJ)- Baldwin showed he can score against the best of the best. Instead of settling for jumpers he added some drive to his game. Once he got into the lane he was able to convert most of the time.
