Wassup everyone, this is Kyle Anderson back again to let the people in on my week. I'm A little late on this I had to study for A test yesterday. But I'm back on track. Um, to summarize my week up, it was A good week. I started last week on Monday so I'm going to start this week on Tuesday.
Tuesday was my first career high school summer league game with Paterson Catholic. We played Passaic Tech and on my first possession I got the ball smacked out of my hands, my first thought was this is A whole new level. But I played well, I only hit A 3 and had 1 TO I also got my weekly work out with Kent Culuco the shooting and work out guru.. The next day we played Don Bosco Prep and I scored 5 points hitting A 3 and A layup. Thursday we played Passaic which was A blow out. I had 7pts. So I'm progressing each game. Friday I played in A 14U game with the Playaz. We lost to the Pythons, whoever they are. I played really bad.
Saturday I played a game in Paterson with 14U at 1pm and then I rode down to Rutgers team camp with Paterson Catholic for two more games. Boy it was hot in that gym. We played New Church Academy the first game. We were up by 8 and the lights cut off due to A power outage. I had only 2 pts than. Later that evening we played A game against Hillhouse from Conneticut. We lost,I don't know how but we lost. I only hit A 3 which is not good at all. I was really upset with myself. Later that night we went back to the hotel got some pizza and called it A day. The next morning we woke up early to play Christ the King with Corey Edwards. We beat them with no problem except at the end when I made A key turnover which was pretty bad. But we still won. One more game left to win to go over .500. We played Trenton Catholic. We ended up losing, SMH. IT WAS A BAD WEEKEND! But I still had one more game to play that could make my weekend better.
I went back up to Paterson to play in the Blow Up Championship game. We played Team Philly who placed 2nd in 13U Nationals last year. We brought in reinforcement, Myles Davis to help out and bring home my 3rd Blow Up chip in A row. Myles did what he does, 27 pts in the CHIP and I did what I do, WIN! So the weekend ended much better than what it could have been. Next weekend is the Rumble in the Bronx. I'll be back to inform everyone about if we won or not. Be back next week. BYE!
