Wassup people its KA on my weekly entry to fill everyone in on what's been happening. This week was nothing exciting. Nothing great happened. There was something I was looking forward to, Summer Jam. Finally my year to go. But last week I wrote about my Monday. So I'm going to start with Tuesday.
Tuesday I worked out with Kent Culuco. Kent has his summer camp coming up and for the player that wants to shoot better it would be good for them to attend. I will give you the time and place of his camps in my next entry. I think that Tuesday's workout was one of my worse workouts. I don't know what was going on, but I was out of it. Fortunately there was a tomorrow and tomorrow was another workout with Kent and I made the best of it. Before Kent showed up I stayed in the gym for an hour and shot all the shots with my left hand. I should be good with my left soon. Thursday I went to 80th St Park in North Bergen the next town over. Ran things with my man Chris Gaston (St. Benedicts.)out there. Friday I hung out with my friends so wasn't a real interesting day.
The weekend came and Saturday morning we went to Philly to play in the RBK Philly Inv. and won both games in pool play on, NO BIGGIE! Sunday came and the tourney was weird. We played Team Kobe's 15U, And we beat 'em. Myles Davis had about 40. He shot 16\16 from the ft line. CRAZY!!!!!!!!! He hit a 3 with 1 sec left to put the game into OT and then scored to put it into double OT and to cap things off, hit 3 fouls shots with 2 sec left to win it. The next game was New Heights in the chip. We lost by 5 which we should've won the game. I played terrible all tournament. This is my 3rd straight tourney where I played bad. I'm in the crazy slump but I'm just going to keep workin' out and try to get better. After New heights I was suppose to go to Summer Jam. But something happened and I couldn't go again. I'm really still mad about that. But whatever.
Next week I have no AAU tournaments with my 15U team but I might play with our 14U team in the Blow Up Tournament. Our high school team (Paterson Catholic) starts to play this week. We have the Just June league on Tues., Wed., and Thurs. We also go to team camp at Rutgers on Sat. and Sun. So, Tues. night it's official...I will be a Paterson Catholic Cougar. Thanks for reading.
