Starting Friday night the single elimination round of the NJ AAU 13 and Under State Tournament will be in full swing. Basketball Spotlight will be in the building for the entire weekend while giving you a full recap. Here’s list of the teams remaining and the match ups coming up.
Trenton Hurricanes: The Capital city squad is currently 2-0 going into bracket play as they defeated the NJ Shore Shots and the Garden State Knights. The face Camp Pocono with the winner drawing Linden Ballers Saturday.
Playaz Basketball Club: The Playaz cruised to victories over Bayshore Bulldogs and Camp Pocono they await the winner of NJ Crusaders and the NJ Shore Shots match up.
Linden Ballers: The Ballers loss a tough one to NJ Crusaders but blew away the NJ Pirates. They got a bye and await the winner of Trenton and Camp Pocono.
NJ Shore Shots: Lost to Trenton in their first game then came back to defeat the Garden State Knights and advance to the single elimination round. They will face the NJ Crusaders for the right to see the Playaz in the semifinal.
Camp Pocono: The Trailblazers got past Bayshore by 1 before being crushed by the Playaz. They still made it to the playoff round and will have to get past Trenton to make it to the semifinals.
NJ Crusaders: The NJ Crusaders dealt Linden a one point loss then came back and bumped by the Pirates. They now have to get past the NJ Shore Shots for a right to get it on with the Playaz.
